| I'm a hobby photographer, working mostly with digital photos taken spur of the moment or while on especially good locations. I have a wee bit of training from school, but a lot of the time I just shoot and see what happens. A few come out surprisingly well despite my humble little Nikon Coolpix and lack of real art education. I really like up-close nature photos, either biologic or geologic, with lots of detail that would otherwise escape the casual viewer if they saw the subject in person. Also, my subject is often fleeting or extremely unlikely to repeat. I took a lot of these in college, sometimes with help from my buddy deeahCHUR (he has his own deviantART gallery of that same name). He did not have his own digital camera back then so I would shoot for him, and those can be found in his gallery since he composed them. Other works were collaborative, so they might be found in both places. Many of my prints are for said in a variety of sizes. ~glistam PS: the name might seem a bit odd to you. It is Leni Lenape (Native American) for "listener." |
